Hello all! My name is Michael Irwin and I'm coming...

Hello all! My name is Michael Irwin and I'm coming to you from the DevRel team at Docker! 😄 I wanted to reach out, as we are looking at creating various use case guides on how to use containers during local development to enhance developer productivity. And... well... WireMock certainly came up! We're in the process of creating starter guides and will be pointing people to dive in deeper by linking to your docs. We don't have any specific needs/asks, but wanted to drop in, say hi, and let you know! If you have any specific asks/goals, we can certainly set up a time to chat. Hopefully, it helps bring some more attention to the project, since many of us think it's awesome and super useful!

Hi @Michael Irwin that all sounds great. Happy to work together on whatever you need.
Hi @Michael Irwin Is this the guide you were referring to - https://docs.docker.com/guides/use-case/wiremock/

Hi @Lee Turner! It's the start, yes. Our docs team just got it published and we're open to your feedback and/or thoughts on it 👍

The guide looks great. We will link it from the WireMock website if that is OK? One thing I noticed was that the guide doesn't have any tags or a time on it. Is that intentional ?
Also it would be great to discuss if there are any other collaboration opportunities we could work on together. We know a good percentage of our users run WireMock in Docker so there might be some value to both our communities. Maybe a webinar or something like that? What are your thoughts? Perhaps we could have a call to discuss options?
m
Sure! Go ahead and link to it. The reason it doesn't have a timestamp is that these guides will be updated/maintained over time. So, instead of a blog post that's a snapshot and may eventually not work/be out of date, these will be maintained. We could certainly still add a "Last updated" timestamp on it though

Regarding collaboration opportunities, let's chat about it! We can certainly do a joint webinar, but will acknowledge we don't currently have a good platform set up for that at the moment (beyond customer training/enablement). It's something we're wanting to do, but hasn't been prioritized quite yet due to everything else going on. However, we'd be happy to join a webinar if you already have some you're running, etc.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I’ll definitely link the article from our website 👍 We run webinars pretty regularly so we should be able to drive that. Shall we put in a short meeting to chat about potential topics ? Not sure what time zone you are in but I am happy to send across an invite
