Good news: the releases to Maven Central now run. There is still a glitch that leads the nexus staging plugin to fail when publishing to the "legacy" https://oss.sonatype.org/ server we are assigned to, but the release gets published nevertheless. Will wait for the OSSRH support team to investigate before rolling out as a GitHub action https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/OSSRH-95888 FYI @Eric Deandrea
